Solid Waste Disposal District <br /> Board of Commissioners Meeting Minutes-Final May 8,2018 <br /> final invoice amount of$8,262.25. <br /> Attachments: Staff Report <br /> Geosyntec Project Completion Report and Final Invoice <br /> A motionwas made by Vice Chairman Solari,seconded by Commissioner Adams,to <br /> approve staff's recommendation.The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> Aye: 5- Chairman O'Bryan, Vice Chairman Solari, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br /> Flescher, and Commissioner Zorc <br /> 15.6.5. 18-1803 CCNA-2018 Work Order No. 1 to Geosyntec for One Year of Groundwater <br /> Monitoring/Reporting and Related Consulting Services at the Former South <br /> Gifford Road Landfill <br /> Recommended Action: Staff recommends that the Solid Waste Disposal District Board approves and <br /> authorizes the Chairman to sign the CCNA-2018 Work Order No. 1 authorizing <br /> Geosyntec to provide groundwater monitoring/reporting and related consulting <br /> services for the former Gifford Road Landfill in compliance with Florida <br /> Department of Environmental Protection requirements for a period of one year,not <br /> to exceed fee of.$92,798. <br /> Attachments: Staff Report <br /> Geosvntec CCNA-2018 WO No 1 <br /> Vice Chairman Solari stated that Geosyntec's proposal includes two semi-annual <br /> groundwater monitoring reports. He posed the idea that staff could approach the <br /> Florida Department of Environmental Protection(FDEP) about changing to annual <br /> monitoring reports. <br /> Chairman O'Bryan sought and received clarification on why there was an increase <br /> to the budget for this Work Order. <br /> A motion was made by Vice Chairman Solari,seconded by Commissioner Flescher, <br /> to approve staffs recommendation,and to direct staff to inquire to the Florida <br /> Department of Environmental Protection(FDEP)about submitting annual <br /> groundwater monitoring reports for the Former South Gifford Road Landfill, instead <br /> of the semi-annual reports currently required.
