Solid Waste Disposal District <br />Board of Commissioners Meeting Minutes -Final May 8, 2018 <br />final invoice amount of $8,262.25. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />GeosVntec Project Completion Reportand Final Invoice <br />A motion.was made by Vice Chairman Solari, seconded by Commissioner Adams; to <br />approve staffs recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman O'Bryan, Vice Chairman Solari, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Flescher, and Commissioner Zorc <br />15.6.5. 18-1803 CCNA-2018 Work Order No. 1 to Geosyntec for One Year of Groundwater <br />Monitoring/Reporting and Related_ _Consulting Services.at the Former South <br />Gifford Road Landfill <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends that the Solid Waste Disposal District Board approves and <br />authorizes the Chairman to. sign the CCNA-2018 Work Order No. 1 authorizing- <br />Geosyntec to provide groundwater monitoring/reporting and related consulting_ <br />services for the former Gifford Road Landfill in compliance withTlorida <br />Department of Environmental Protection requirements for a period of one year, not <br />to exceed fee of.$92,798. <br />Attachments: _ Staff Report <br />Geosyntec CCNA-2018 WO No 1 <br />Vice Chairman Solari stated that Geosyntec's proposal includes two:semi-annual <br />groundwater monitoring reports., He posed, the idea that staff could approach the <br />Florida Department of Enviromnental Protection (FDEP) about changing to annual <br />monitoring reports. <br />Chairman O'Bryan sought and received clarification on why there.was an increase <br />to the budget for this Work Order. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman Solari, seconded by Commissioner Flescher, <br />to approve staffs recommendation, and to direct staff to inquire to the Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) about submitting annual <br />groundwater monitoring reports for the Former South Gifford Road Landfill, instead <br />of the semi-annual reports currently required.
