RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - <br />all necessary certifications for the Community Development Block Grant application to be <br />submitted on or before August 13, 2018. <br />SECTION 3. The Board of County Commissioners directs the Community <br />Development Director, or in his absence a designee of the Community Development <br />Director, to make minor corrections to and execute and submit the FFY 2017 CDBG <br />application to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity for State approval. <br />SECTION 4. The Board of County Commissioners authorizes and directs the <br />Community Development Director, or .in his absence a .designee of the Community <br />Development Director, to submit additional information in a timely manner as may be <br />required by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, award agreement, or other <br />State or Federal request related to said application and award agreement. <br />SECTION 5. The Board of County Commissioners authorizes the Community <br />Development Director, or in his absence a designee of the Community Development <br />Director, to sign any subsequent forms or documents as needed for the CDBG application <br />and project. <br />SECTION 6. The Board of County Commissioners does hereby commit to spend <br />$50,000.00 in SHIP Funding on CDBG eligible activities identified in Indian River County <br />FFY 2017 CDBG application as local government leverage in accordance with the <br />applicable rules and guidelines as set forth by the DEO, subject to grant award. <br />SECTION 7. Subject to grant award, the Board of County Commissioners does <br />hereby commit to expend all local government leverage between the time of site visit and <br />the time of administrative close-out for said grant, in accordance with applicable rules and <br />guidelines as set forth by the DEO. <br />SECTION 8. The Indian River County Comprehensive Plan is hereby adopted as <br />the County's Community Development Plan. <br />2137 <br />
