Indian River County, Florida <br />Community Development <br />Block Grant Second Public <br />Hearing Notice <br />Indian River County plans to <br />apply to the Florida Depart- <br />ment of Economic Opportuni- <br />ty (DEO) for a FFY 2017 Small <br />Cities Community Devel- <br />opment Block Grant (CDBG) <br />of $750,000 in the Housing <br />Rehabilitation Category. The <br />activities, dollar amounts and <br />estimated percentage benefit <br />to Low and Moderate Income <br />(LMI) persons are as follows: <br />Activity No.: 14A <br />Activity Name: Housing <br />Rehabilitation/Demolition/ <br />Replacement <br />CDBG Funding: $615,500 <br />LMI Benefit: 100% <br />Local Leverage: $50,000 <br />Quantity: 11 Units <br />Activity No.: 08 <br />Activity Name: Temporary <br />Relocation <br />CDBG Funding: $22,000 <br />LMI Benefit: 100% <br />LocalLeverage:$0 <br />Quantity: 11 Units <br />Activity No.: 21A <br />Activity Name: Administration <br />CDBG Funding: $112,500 <br />LMI Benefit: N/A <br />Local Leverage: $0 <br />Quantity: N/A <br />TOTAL PROJECT: <br />CDBG Funding: $750,000 <br />LMI Benefit: 100% <br />Local Leverage: $50,000 <br />Quantity: 11 Units <br />The County will provide hous- <br />ing rehabilitation to serve at <br />least eleven (11) homes of <br />very low, low, and moderate <br />income households within the <br />unincorporated area of Indian <br />River County. <br />Indian River County does <br />not expect that anyone will <br />be displaced as a result of <br />CDBG-funded activities. If any <br />persons are displaced as a <br />result of the planned activi- <br />ties, Indian River County will <br />assist them as described in the <br />County's anti -displacement <br />and relocation policy, which <br />is available for review at the <br />Indian River County Commu- <br />nity Development Department <br />located at 1801 27th Street, <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960. <br />A public hearing toprovide cit- <br />izens an opportunity to com- <br />ment on the application will <br />be held in the County Commis- <br />sion Chambers at the Indian <br />River County Administration <br />Building A, located at 1801 <br />27th Street, Vero Beach, Flor- <br />ida 32960 on Tuesday, July 10, <br />2018 at 9:00 a.m., or as soon <br />thereafter as possible.A draft <br />copy of the application will <br />be available for review at the <br />County Community Develop- <br />ment Department located at <br />1801 27th Street, Vero Beach, <br />Florida 32960 by noon on July <br />5, 2018. Persons wanting to <br />submit written comments on <br />the application should send <br />them to Bill Schutt, Senior <br />Economic Development Plan- <br />ner, by e-mail at bschutt@ <br />ircgov.com or by mail to 1801 <br />27th Street, Vero Beach, Flor- <br />ida 32960 no later than July <br />17, 2018. A final copy of the <br />application will be made avail- <br />able for review during normal <br />business hours at the Indi- <br />an River County Community <br />Development Department no <br />later than August 6, 2018. The <br />application will be submitted <br />to DEO on or before August <br />13, 2018.
