A short discussion ensued regarding the consideration of safe sidewalks for <br />children walking to and from school; specifically 11th Street, SW to Osceola Magnet <br />Middle School. Deputy Floyd noted the lighting/millings/stop signs involved in the Oslo <br />Road project was going before the BCC on June 19, 2018 and suggested the sidewalk <br />issue would be reviewed after the completion of the Oslo Road project. <br />ON MOTION BY Deputy Floyd, SECONDED BY Vice <br />Chairman Reverend Mosley, the members voted <br />unanimously (5-0) to recommend to the Board of <br />County Commissioners the Housing Rehabilitation <br />(rehabilitation/repair) category be pursued for <br />CDBG CATF grant funding. <br />Mr. Alday presented a PowerPoint Presentation entitled "Fair Housing <br />Workshop", a copy is on file in the Commission Office. <br />Mr. Joe Idlette, Jr. announced his resignation.
