RENEWAL OF CONTRACT FOR SERVICES <br />THIS RENEWAL is made between Indian River County (hereinafter referred to as "County") and M.T. <br />CAUSLEY, LLC—A SAFEbuilt Company hereinafter referred to as "Consulant". The County and the <br />Consultant shall be jointly referred to as the "Parties". <br />WHEREAS, the Parties entered into an Agreement for Supplemental Building Department Services on <br />September 2, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement was effective for an initial term of one (1) year; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for the extension of services for a two (2) year period; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to renew the Agreement for an additional two (2) year period based on the <br />revised Rate Sheet — Exhibit A. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree that the Proposal is hereby amended as follows: <br />1. The term of the Agreement is renewed, effective September 2, 2018 and will remain effective <br />until September 1, 2020. <br />2. Services will be compensated based on the revised Rate Sheet — Exhibit A. <br />3. Consultant reserves the right to increase the hourly rates after one year of the renewal date <br />based on the Consumer Price Index, but no more than 5%. Hourly rates shall not decrease for <br />the term of the renewal. <br />4.
