A TRUE COPY <br />CERTIFICATION ON LAST PAGE <br />J <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN J.R. SMITH, CLERK <br />THE STATE OF FLORIDA, DEPARTMENT OF STATE <br />AND <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PARKS DIVISION <br />19.H.SM.100.020 <br />This Agreement is by and between the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Historical Resources hereinafter <br />referred to as the "Division," and the Indian River County Parks Division hereinafter referred to as the "Grantee." <br />The Grantee has been awarded a Small Matching Grant by the Division, grant number 19.h.sm.100.020 for the Project" <br />Jungle Trail Greenway Public Access Improvements ", in the amount of $27,550.00 ("Grant Award Amount"). The Division <br />enters into this Agreement pursuant to L ine Item 3090, contained in the 2019 G eneral Appropriations Act, HB 5001, L aws of <br />F lorida. The D ivision has the authority to administer this grant in accordance with S ection 267.0617, Florida S tatutes. <br />In consideration of the mutual covenants and promises contained herein, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Grant Purpose: This grant shall be used exclusively for the " Jungle Trail Greenway Public Access Improvements", the <br />public purpose for which these funds were appropriated. <br />a. The Grantee shall perform the following Scope of Work: <br />This project will result in the restoration and increased awareness of the Jungle Trail Greenway in Vero Beach, <br />Indian River County. Restoration will involve the survey of the proposed site and the design and reconstruction of a <br />replica of the historic fruit stand at Jones' Homestead. Education will involve the design, construction, and <br />installation of 14 wayside exhibits at 7 locations on the greenway and the design and printing of 5,000 educational <br />brochures. <br />Grant funds will also be used for architectural / engineering services, including production of architectural drawings <br />and the reconstruction, and the production of educational elements. <br />All tasks associated with the Project shall meet the requirements set forth in this agreement. <br />b.
