SECTION 00520 - Agreement (Public Works) <br />THIS AGREEMENT is by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a Political Subdivision of the <br />State of Florida organized and existing under the Laws of the State of Florida, (hereinafter called <br />OWNER) <br />and Community Asphalt. Corp. <br />(hereinafter called CONTRACTOR). <br />OWNER and CONTRACTOR, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth, <br />agree as follows: <br />ARTICLE 1 -WORK <br />1.01 CONTRACTOR shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract <br />Documents. The Work is generally described as follows: <br />This project will be performed for resurfacing of CR 512 from Myrtle Street to <br />1251h Avenue. The proposed improvements will include milling of existing pavement, <br />installation of superpave asphaltic concrete, installation of signal mast arms & <br />associated controllers with video detection, widening paved shoulders, sodding and <br />installation of thermoplastic pavement markings, replacement of sidewalk curb returns <br />for ADA compliance and other ancillary construction work. This is a F.D.O.T. Small <br />County Outreach Program (SCOP) funded project, FM No. 433068-1-54-01. <br />ARTICLE 2 - THE PROJECT <br />2.01 The Project for which the Work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only a <br />part is generally described as follows: <br />Project Name: CR 512 RESURFACING & SHOULDER WIDENING FROM <br />MYRTLE STREET TO 125th AVENUE <br />County Project Number: IRC -1305 <br />Bid Number: 2018009 <br />FPI D: 433068-1=54-01 <br />Project Address: County Road 512 from Myrtle Street to 125th Avenue, <br />Fellsmere, FL 32948 <br />ARTICLE 3 — ENGINEER <br />3.01 The Indian River County Public Works Department is hereinafter called the ENGINEER <br />and will act as OWNER's representative, assume all duties and responsibilities, and have <br />the rights and authority assigned to ENGINEER in the Contract Documents in connection <br />with the completion of the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br />ARTICLE 4 - CONTRACT TIMES <br />4.01 Time of the Essence <br />A.
