SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />1801 27th Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />Telephone: (772) 567-8000 FAX: (772) 770-5140 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, Julv <br />11, 2018. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and <br />address of the bidder on the outside and the words "NORTH COUNTY OFFICES AT <br />SEBASTIAN CORNERS and Bid No. 2018059". Bids should be addressed to Purchasing <br />Division, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be opened publicly and read <br />aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., on the day specified above, will not be <br />accepted or considered. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IRC -1744 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2018059 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project consists of the construction of ±8,400 S.F. of new <br />office space and related facilities for the relocation of Indian River County professional <br />offices. The project includes new restrooms, storefront window replacement, electrical <br />and plumbing work, raised floors and the replacement of rooftop air conditioning units. <br />In addition, site related improvements will include new parking lot striping, curb repair, <br />new external lighting and exterior building cleaning and repainting. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. Copies of the <br />documents are available at: www.demandstar.com or by contacting the Purchasing Division at <br />(772) 226-1416 or purchasinqCa)-ircgov.com. All other communications concerning this bid shall <br />be directed to IRC Purchasing Division at purchasing(a-)-ircgov.com. <br />All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided <br />within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely <br />including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid and must be in the <br />form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified <br />surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business <br />in the State of Florida.
