Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes July 11, 2018 <br />001-110 TREASURE COAST HOMELESS SERVICES COUNCIL, INC. <br />Attachments: Quasi Non -Profit Organizations <br />Administrator Brown's recommendations for Ouasi Non -Profit <br />Organizations• <br />• Senior Resource Association Transportation- $1,115,800, a decrease of <br />$50,866, or (4.4%) <br />• Senior Services - $123,700, an increase of $4,090, or 3.4% <br />• Senior Resource Grants - $ -0-, a decrease of $1,581,260, or (100%) <br />• Gifford Youth Achievement Center - $97,840, an increase of $2,321, or <br />2.4% <br />• Progressive Civic League - $12,185, same as last year <br />• Humane Society - $395,547, same as last year <br />• Treasure Coast Homeless Services - $15,270, same as last year <br />The total proposed budget for Quasi Non -Profit Organizations is <br />$1,760,342, a decrease of $1,625,715, or (48.0%). <br />Administrator Brown reviewed the recommendations for Quasi <br />Non -Profit Organizations and pointed out that these organizations <br />perform a function that the County would have to do otherwise. <br />The Chairman opened the floor for comments. <br />Karen Diegl, Executive Director, Senior Resource Association <br />Transportation thanked the Board and staff for their ongoing support on <br />transportation and the programs. <br />DORI SLOSBERG DRIVER EDUCATION SAFETY ACT <br />137-110 INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />18-2036 <br />Attachments: Dori Slosberg Driver Education Safety Act <br />Administrator Brown stated that the recommended budgets for the Dori <br />Slosberg Driver Education Act are: <br />• Indian River County School District - $48,000, same as last year <br />• Reserve for Contingency - $9,000 <br />The Chairman opened the floor for comments. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 12 <br />
