Does your Board u/D0eotomset Me policies tor your agency'!, <br />This agency is HUD continuum ofcare which is required to set policies and procedures regarding <br />homeless services development in response tnthe HUD requirements for funding eligibility. hmust also <br />meet the Gtoha Office on Homelessness' eligibility requirements for the administration and financial <br />management of the State grants and other homeless services funds. The agency also is required to meet <br />confidentiality requirements and practices for the ethical tnaoi7nant of clients. Beyond those minimum <br />mandatory requirements, the Board does set policy regarding adnnin|cdnetion, financial management and <br />openstions, including staffing and other personnel issues and areas ofnon State and Federal services <br />development d provision. <br />3. Is there a quorum requirement for Board members attendance at your agency board rneetingV <br />YES <br />Board Members or their legal designees are required to attend 75% of formally scheduled Board <br />meetings or face being removed. <br />4. Hlease explain tne rotating volunteer structure or your t3oara mernoers ano amcers. <br />One third of the Board, annually, is replaced. Positions are rotated by soliciting volunteers to serve either <br />a one, two or three year term. This is achieved by formal notification to the full Council membership of <br />the date of the Annual meeting and the available Board positions to be elected. Board members are <br />formally elected by Council Members. Ballots are sent out prior to the annual meeting. Board Members <br />are voted in using a secret ballot, Write ins are acceptable at the Annual meeting. They must be ratified <br />by the full Board at the next general meeting. . <br />262 <br />
