The <br />Walk -In & Counseling Center provides immediate access to mental health screening and crisis <br />intervention services to Indian River County residents of all ages for free. It is the only mental health <br />agency in Indian River County that provides free immediate access to mental health screening and <br />crisis intervention services. The Mental.Health Walk-in Center also provides mental health services by <br />appointment on a sliding fee schedule beginning at zero dollars for clients who are indigent. Immediate <br />access services include mental health screening, crisis intervention, immediate case management, and <br />info rnnadon/refe,raIs. Sen/ices byappointment include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, <br />individual psychotherapy, family psychotherapy, group therapy and support group services. The Walk -In <br />& Counseling Center also has a medication assistance program through which indigent clients of the <br />MHA are able to receive free medications.
