Mr. Smith asked whether the transfer station will continue in <br />operation, and Administrator Chandler responded that for the <br />immediate future we will continue operating that transfer station. <br />The only possible change would take place if we were to go to <br />countywide mandatory trash collection. <br />Chairman Tippin explained that the Board makes the assurance, <br />but the Department of Environmental Protection may make changes in <br />the new rules which we must follow. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 94-140 authorizing the exchange of real <br />property. <br />COUNTY DEED IS RECORDED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY AND A COPY IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94- 140 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE OF <br />REAL PROPERTY. <br />WHEREAS, the County and Timber Ridge both own 3.582 acres in <br />close proximity to each other; and <br />WHEREAS, the County and Timber Ridge are desirous , of <br />exchanging said parcels; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 125.37. F. S . , empowers the County to make <br />such exchanges, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />that: <br />1. The Chairman is authorized to sign all necessary papers to <br />effect the exchange of the following properties: <br />3.582 acres of County land located within the property <br />boundary of the Oslo Landfill West of Lateral "J" ' canal for <br />3.582 acres of land owned by Timber Ridge located West of <br />8th Avenue, S.W., South of the Oslo Landfill and East of <br />Lateral "J" canal. <br />November 1, 1994 <br />
