COMMISSIONER EGGERT AMENDED THE MOTION to direct <br />staff to develop criteria for issuance of a permit. <br />Under discussion, Peter Yurkiewicz, resident of Fellsmere, <br />suggested that the permit should have the requirement of being a <br />satellite location of a permanent veterinary office, such as a van <br />fully supplied with oxygen, water, and sanitation. <br />Dr. Herman agreed that mobile hospitals are acceptable because <br />they are well staffed and supplied. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND REHABILITATIVE SERVICES <br />MEETING <br />Commissioner Eggert urged everyone to attend the HRS meeting <br />scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, because if our <br />members do not show up, HRS assumes we have no problems here in <br />Indian River County.
