Smith, Clerk of Court & Comptroller <br />DATE: September 25, 2018 <br />SUBJECT: Indian River County Grant Contract Subrecipient Awards <br />As part of the federal government requirement under 2 CFR 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, <br />Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Award, (commonly known as the Uniform <br />Grant Guidance), subrecipient agreements must be entered into and approved by the Board of <br />County Commissioners for any new grants or updates to current grants. Based on the <br />classification of grant recipients, the Senior Resource Association (SRA) is classified as a grant <br />subrecipient. <br />On, September 20, 2018, Indian River County was awarded the FY 2018 FTA 5307 Capital & <br />Operating Grant in the amount of $3,290,751. Per the requirements of the Uniform Grant Guidance, a <br />subrecipient grant agreement must be approved with the Senior Resource Association that <br />encompasses the additional grant. <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve the Indian River County Grant Contract Subrecipient Award agreement with the Senior <br />Resource Association and execute any related documents. <br />Attachments: <br />Indian River County Grant Contract Subrecipient Award with SRA with exhibits A-E <br />
