Commissioner Tim Zorc <br />14.E.1. 18-2166 Update on information related to the Public Service Commission <br />hearings in Tallahassee on sale of Vero Beach Electric <br />Recommended Action: Discussion <br />Attachments: Commissioner's Memorandum <br />Commissioner Zorc made mention that there is a grass roots petition effort to <br />stop the Florida Industrial Power Users Group challenge to the sale of the City <br />of Vero Beach Electric Utility to Florida Power & Light. He requested placing <br />a link to their petition on the County's website, with any necessary disclaimers, <br />and hoped the County could help disseminate information to supporters of the <br />sale to FPL. <br />The Board consensus was to provide an information -only link on the County's <br />website to the petition. <br />15. SPECIAL DISTRICTS AND BOARDS <br />A. Emergency Services District <br />The Board of County Commissioners reconvened as the Board of Commissioners <br />of the Emergency Services District.
