Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes-Final September 12,2018 <br /> 5.E. 18-2256 Proposed millage is 2.3655 and is 5.29% above rollback rate of <br /> 2.2466. The proposed budget is $39,833,786. <br /> Recommended Action: Adopt the tentative millage. Adopt the tentative budget <br /> Attachments: Emergency Services District <br /> Administrator Brown announced that the proposed budget for the <br /> Emergency Services District is$39,833,786, an increase of$281,664 over <br /> the current year budget, or an increase of 0.7%. The proposed millage is <br /> 2.3655, 5.29% above the rolled back rate. <br /> The Chairman opened the floor for public comments; there were no <br /> speakers, and the Chairman closed the public comment session. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Flescher,seconded by Vice Chairman <br /> Solari,to adopt the tentative millage rate of 2.3655, 5.29%above the rolled <br /> back rate of 2.2466 for the Emergency Services District.The motion carried <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Aye: 4- Chairman O'Bryan,Vice Chairman Solari, Commissioner Flescher, and <br /> Commissioner Zorc <br /> Absent: 1 - Commissioner Adams <br /> A motion was made by Vice Chairman Solari,seconded by Commissioner Zorc,to <br /> adopt the tentative budget in the amount of$39,833,786,for the Emergency <br /> Services District.The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> Aye: 4- Chairman O'Bryan,Vice Chairman Solari, Commissioner Flescher, and Commissioner <br /> Zorc <br /> Absent: 1 - Commissioner Adams <br /> Land Acquisition Bonds-2004 Referendum <br /> 5.F. 18-2257 Proposed millage is 0.2827 (rollback rate does not apply) and <br /> proposed budget amount is $4,684,226. <br /> Recommended Action: Adopt the tentative millage. Adopt the tentative budget. <br /> Attachments: Land Acquisition Bond <br /> Administrator Brown announced that the proposed millage is 0.2827 mils, <br /> which is a decrease of 4.3%below the current rate.He explained that the <br /> rollback rate does not apply to General Obligation debt.The proposed budget is <br /> $4,684,226 for the Land Acquisition Bonds.
