TDC funds will be used to continue to <br />expand and enhance the added promotion of the Cultural Council's cultural tourism efforts. <br />The, Cultural Council in partnership with Americans for the Arts inconducting <br />6 economic impact of 10 nonprofit arts and cultural organizations and their audiences in IRC provides <br />compelring evidence that the nonprofit arts and culture sector is a $24.9 million dollar industry in Indian <br />River County and generates $3 million in local and state government revenue. In Indian River County <br />researchers estimate that 25.1% of the attendees, 87,021, were non-residents of which 11,878 reported <br />at least I overnight.
