We will continue our
tuition -free, after-school lagoon science education program for 5th graders that includes four Title 1 schools; and
expand Audubon Adventure Camp for at -risk 6th -12th graders drawn from across the county to provide programs
in school breaks and weekends. In addition, we will partner with Oslo Middle School students and teachers on
projects/experiments conducted on campus or in other Indian River County locations to expand their understanding
of lagoon science and the unique ecosystems surrounding us. This will enable PIAS to track the progress of
graduated 5th graders from the Audubon Advocates program.
We are engaging a large, more diverse audience, more teachers and Audubon members and we will reach beyond
to new families and adults across Indian River County.
Taxonomy #1304.03 Afterschool Enrichment & CO2 Environmental Education.
