PUBLIC HEARING <br />NOTICE OF INTENT TO AFFIRM <br />RECREATION PUBLIC USE ON <br />PRIVATE PROPERTY <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that <br />the Board of County Commis- <br />sioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, will conduct a Public <br />Hearing to consider adoption <br />of a notice of intent to affirm <br />the existence of a recreational <br />customary use of the beach <br />on private property between <br />Wabasso Beach Park, located <br />at the intersection of County <br />Road 510 and AlA, and 9586 <br />Doubloon Drive, Vero Beach, <br />Florida 32963. <br />The Public Hearing will be held <br />on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 <br />at 9:05 a.m., or as soon there- <br />after as the matter may be <br />heard, in the County Commis- <br />sion Chambers located on the <br />first floor of Building A of the <br />County Administrative Com- <br />plex, 1801 27th Street, Vero <br />Beach, Florida 32960, at which <br />time interested parties may <br />be heard with respect to the <br />adoption of a notice of intent <br />to affirm the existence of a <br />recreational customary use of <br />the beach on private proper- <br />ty between Wabasso Beach <br />Park, located at the intersec- <br />tion of County Road 510 and <br />AlA, and 9586 Doubloon Drive, <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32963. <br />At the public hearing, the <br />Indian River County Board of <br />County Commissioners will be <br />accepting evidence as to the <br />1) specific parcels of property, <br />or the specific portions there- <br />of, upon which a customary <br />use affirmation is sought; 2) <br />detailed, specific, and individ- <br />ual use or uses of the par- <br />cels of property to which a <br />customary use affirmation is <br />sought; and 3) ancient, rea- <br />sonable, without interruption, <br />and free from dispute recre- <br />ational customary use of the <br />beach in this area. <br />Anyone who may wish to <br />appeal any decision which <br />may be made at this meeting <br />will need to ensure that a ver- <br />batim record of the proceed- <br />ings is made, which includes <br />testimony and evidence upon <br />which the appeal is based. <br />Anyone who needs a special <br />accommodation for this meet- <br />ing must contact the County's <br />Americans With Disabilities <br />Act (ADA) Coordinator at 772- <br />226-1223 at least 48 hours in <br />advance of the meeting. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD <br />OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />PETER D.
