RESOLUTION NO. 2018-121 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING REVISED DEVELOPMENT <br />REVIEW FEE SCHEDULES FOR PLANNING AND PUBLIC WORKS. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has the authority to establish <br />fees pursuant to Florida Statutes Chapter 125; and <br />WHEREAS, development application review fees were last updated in 2004; and <br />WHEREAS, an analysis of staff time and associated labor costs has been <br />performed, together with policy decisions to undercharge certain development review and <br />permit activities, as the basis for establishing revised and new fees for development <br />review and related permit activities for Planning and Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS, the updated fees were extensively reviewed by the Development <br />Review and Permit Process Advisory Committee and were ultimately supported and <br />recommended by the Committee: and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to appropriately assess <br />costs of activities for development review and associated permit activities. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida that the attached Planning fee schedule (see Exhibit "A") <br />and the attached Public Works fee schedule (see Exhibit "B") are hereby adopted. The <br />effective date of the fees contained in both fee schedules is March 1, 2019. Exhibits "A" <br />and `B" are attached to and incorporated as part of this resolution. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED on this 20th day of November , 2018. The foregoing <br />resolution was offered by Commissioner 0 rBryan and the motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Flescher , and upon being put to a vote, the vote <br />was as follows: <br />Commissioner Susan Adams AVE <br />Commissioner Joseph E.
