Sobczak, Infrastructure Project Manager <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid No: 2019005 <br />Victor Hart Sr. Complex Drainage Improvements <br />DATE: September 28, 2018 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On February 6, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners approved Work Order No. 4 with Masteller <br />& Moler, Inc. for the design of drainage improvements to the existing football field and associated <br />parking areas at the Victor Hart Sr. Complex located at 4715 43rd Avenue. <br />Following completion of the design, the project was advertised and a bid opening was held on <br />September 19, 2018. Six (6) qualified bids were received for the project, a detailed bid tabulation is <br />on file and available for viewing in the County Engineering Division. The successful bidders and their <br />respective bids are as follows: <br />1) Guettler Brothers Construction, LLC <br />$591,143.00 <br />2) Sunshine Land Design, INC. <br />$689,007.83 <br />3) Blue Goose Construction, LLC <br />$733,937.50 <br />4) Summit Construction of Vero Beach, LLC <br />$747,241.30* <br />5) Joebear Contracting, INC. <br />$767,976.80 <br />6) PRP Construction Group, LLC <br />$769,047.25 <br />*Denotes mathematical rounding error corrected on bid. <br />Guettler Brothers Construction, LLC is considered to bethe lowest, responsive, responsible bidderfor <br />the project with a bid of $591,143.00. Guettler Brothers Construction, LLC has satisfactorily <br />completed similar construction projects for the County.
