F. Submit to SJRWMD a "Notice to District of Dewatering Activity" (SJRWMD Form <br />No. 40C-2.900(12)) prior to commencement of dewatering in accordance with <br />F.A.C. 40C-2.042(9). Provide a copy of the Notice to Indian River County. <br />1.2 PERMITS <br />A. The OWNER has obtained certain permits for this project and they are listed in <br />paragraph 6.08.6 of the EJCDC Standard General Conditions of the Construction <br />Contract (General Conditions). Per paragraph 6.08.0 of the General Conditions, <br />apply for and obtain all other required federal, state, and local permits, licenses, <br />sampling, and tests. <br />B. Provide copies of all approved permits to the OWNER and ENGINEER and comply <br />with all conditions contained in all permits at no extra cost to the OWNER. If there <br />is a conflict between any permit requirement and these Specifications or <br />requirements between permits, the more stringent specification or requirement shall <br />govern. <br />C. Pay for all required water quality sampling and laboratory tests. <br />1.3 GENERAL <br />A. Do not begin any other construction work until the pollution control and treatment <br />system has been constructed in accordance with approved plans, permits, and <br />these Specifications; and the installed system has been examined by the OWNER <br />for compliance. <br />B. From time to time, the OWNER or ENGINEER will inspect the pollution control and <br />treatment system and may take effluent samples for analysis by a testing laboratory <br />selected and paid for by the OWNER. If at any time, the OWNER or ENGINEER <br />determines that the pollution control and treatment system is not in compliance with <br />the approved system, the OWNER or ENGINEER will shut the portion of the project <br />down that is not in compliance, and it shall remain shut -down until the pollution <br />control and treatment system is properly constructed or repaired, and complies with <br />the approved pollution control and treatment system plans, specifications, contract <br />documents, and permits. <br />C. Schedule construction to minimize erosion and stormwater runoff from the <br />construction site. Implement erosion control measures on disturbed areas as soon <br />as practicable in portions of the site where construction activities have temporarily or <br />permanently ceased, but in no case more than 7 days after the construction activity <br />in that portion of the site has temporarily or permanently ceased. In addition to <br />other temporary erosion control measures that may be implemented, application of <br />polyacrylamide is required on all such disturbed areas within 7 days after the <br />construction, activity in that portion of the site has temporarily or permanently <br />ceased, unless final landscaping has been installed. Polyacrylamide application <br />shall be as specified herein.
