Qualifications <br /> I received my Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from University of <br /> Delaware in 1990. I obtained a Master of Science in Plant Pathology from <br /> University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1993 and a Ph.D. in Mycology <br /> from the same institution in 1998. I was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in <br /> mycology at the United States Department of Agriculture through Penn State <br /> University from 1999 to 2000. My education, training, and experience have <br /> focused on the fields of mycology,microbiology, fungal taxonomy and <br /> systematics, fungal ecology, fungal biology,aerobiology, and indoor air quality. I <br /> have been involved in the Indoor Air Quality(IAQ) industry for over 15 years. I <br /> have analyzed thousands of indoor/outdoor samples for fungi and/or molds from <br /> air and surfaces. In addition, I have evaluated and interpreted thousands of IAQ <br /> analytical data regarding fungi/mold and bacteria. I have authored more than 20 <br /> publications relating to plant pathology, mycology, mycotoxins, and IAQ. In <br /> addition,I have made numerous presentations to various organizations,all of <br /> which address fungi and/or molds, and bacteria. I am a member of American <br /> Industrial Hygiene Association(AIHA), Mycological Society of America(MSA), <br /> and International Society for Animal and Human Mycology(ISHAM). I <br /> currently serve on the board of American Industrial Hygiene Association,AIHA <br /> Environmental Microbiology Proficiency Testing(EMPAT).
