Indian River County, Inc. ("EOC") is a non-profit corporation in <br />Indian River County. Since the EOC receives Community Services Block Grant funds, pursuant to 42 USC <br />§9910, the EOC must have 1/3 of the members of its board who are elected officials or their representatives. <br />On October 10, 2017, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") reappointed <br />Jennifer Proper, Linda McConkey and Donald Hart, Sr. and appointed Charles Pope to the EOC. Linda <br />McConkey resigned effective January 1, 2018, on February 20, 2018, the Board appointed Grant Gillenwater <br />to fill the vacant position on the EOC. <br />On October 15, 2018, Angela Davis -Green, Executive Director of the EOC requested consideration of the <br />reappointment of Jennifer Proper, Charles Pope and Donald Hart, Sr. and the appointment of Teddy Floyd. <br />RECOMMENDATION. <br />The County Attorney recommends that the Board reappoint Jennifer Proper, Charles Pope and Donald Hart, <br />Sr. and appoint Teddy Floyd to the Economic Opportunities Council of Indian River County, Inc. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />Letter from Angela Davis -Green to the Board of County Commissioners, dated October 15, 2018 <br />F..UaomrylLirdalGF—VERALiBCCWge.d.
