Brown <br />County Administrator <br />DATE: October 30, 2018 <br />SUBJECT: Amendment No. 1 to Red Tide DEP Agreement No. ABO10 <br />On October 19, 2018, Indian River County entered into Agreement No. ABO 10 with the State of <br />Florida, Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for cleanup of fish/marine life debris <br />associated with red tide. On October 30, 2018, an amendment to Agreement No. ABO10 was <br />approved in order to add additional manpower to accelerate the pace of cleanup of debris, and <br />additional supplies as needed. Attached is the approved Amendment No. 1 with the addition of <br />Task 3, Biological Debris Removal (Existing Staff — Documented Overtime), and Task 4, <br />Biological Debris Removal. <br />Following is the Revised Cost Estimates based on the amendment to the agreement: <br />Indian River County Red Tide <br />Revised Cost Estimates 10/26/2018 <br />Item Description <br />Estimated Costs <br />Debris Removal <br />$355,48 <br />Hauling/Transportation <br />$21,581 <br />Landfill Disposal <br />$5,688 <br />County Overtime <br />$10,487 <br />Miscellaneous Costs <br />$25,000 <br />Contingency (25%) <br />$104,55 <br />Total Estimate Cost <br />$522,79 <br />NOTE: These are estimates only, costs are subject to change. <br />169 <br />
