Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes -Final November 20, 2018 <br /> 3.C. ELECTION OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION VICE CHAIRMAN <br /> County Attorney Dylan Reingold opened the floor for nominations for the position <br /> of Vice Chairman of the Indian River County Board of Commissioners. <br /> Commissioner Adams was nominated for Vice Chairman of the Board by <br /> Commissioner O'Bryan; there were no further nominations. <br /> A motion was made Commissioner O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner Flescher,to <br /> close the nominations for Vice Chairman of the Indian River County Board of <br /> Commissioners. The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> Aye: 5- Chairman Solari, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner Flescher, Commissioner <br /> O'Bryan, and Commissioner Zorc <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan,seconded by Commissioner Flescher, <br /> to elect Commissioner Susan Adams as Vice Chairman of the Indian River County <br /> Board of Commissioners. The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> Aye: 5- Chairman Solari, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner Flescher, Commissioner <br /> O'Bryan, and Commissioner Zorc <br /> The past Chairman, Peter O'Bryan, offered congratulations as he passed the gavel to <br /> the newly appointed Chairman, Bob Solari. <br /> 4. ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan,seconded by Commissioner Flescher, <br /> to approve the Agenda as written.
