9112/95(rasa1c nlm&l.doe) VkNF <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-121 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING ANIMAL CONTROL <br />OFFICER THOMAS DANIEL HAND TO ISSUE <br />CITATIONS. <br />WHEREAS, Section 828.27, Florida Statutes, allows County Animal <br />Control Officers under certain conditions to issue citations related to animal <br />control ordinances if the officer successfully completes a 40 -hour minimum <br />standards training course; and <br />WHEREAS, Animal Control Officer Thomas Daniel Hand has completed <br />such a course at the Valencia Community College on September 1, 1994, and <br />is therefore qualified under Section 828.27, F.S.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Animal Control <br />Officer Thomas Daniel Hand is hereby authorized to issue animal control <br />citations, pursuant to Section 828.27, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 302 of <br />the Indian River County Code. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Eggert , <br />and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Adams , and, upon <br />being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Kenneth R. Macht A y e <br />Vice Chairman Fran B. Adams Aye <br />Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner John W.
