40 <br />RESOLUTION 95-153 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO MAKE <br />APPLICATION TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR A <br />NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION CATEGORY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT. <br />aaea�r�• <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is experiencing a need for <br />physical improvements in one or more lova-to-moderate income <br />neighborhoods; and <br />WHEREAS it is the desire of the Indian River County Board of <br />County Commissioners that local residents be assisted in creating <br />an improved living environment in these areas; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSION OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA; that <br />SECTION 1. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />program is declared to be a workable program for providing needed <br />physical improvements in the low -to -moderate Income areas Indicated <br />In the proposed 1995/96 CDBG application. <br />SECTION 2.
