NOTICE OF INTENT <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that <br />the Board of County Commis- <br />sioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, will conduct a Public <br />Hearing to consider adoption <br />of a proposed ordinance enti- <br />tled: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD <br />OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION <br />210.01 (TAXING DISTRICT AND <br />LEVY) AND SECTION 210.03 <br />(AUTHORIZED USES OF REVE- <br />NUE) OF CHAPTER 210 (TOUR- <br />IST DEVELOPMENT TAX) OF <br />THE CODE OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA IN ORDER <br />TO ALLOW FOR THE FOURTH <br />CENT OF THE TOURIST DEVEL- <br />OPMENT TAX TO BE USED FOR <br />PROMOTION AND ADVER- <br />TISEMENT OF TOURISM AND <br />CLARIFY THE USE OF TOUR- <br />IST DEVELOPMENT TAXES FOR <br />PROMOTION AND ADVERTISE- <br />MENT OF TOURISM; AND PRO- <br />VIDING FOR CODIFICATION, <br />SEVERABILITY, REPEAL OF <br />CONFLICTING PROVISIONS, <br />AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />The Public Hearing will be held <br />on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 <br />at 9:05 a.m., or as soon there- <br />after as the matter may be <br />heard, in the County Commis- <br />sion Chambers located on the <br />first floor of Building A of the <br />County Administrative <br />Complex, 1801 27th Street, <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960, at <br />which time interested parties <br />may be heard with respect to <br />the proposed ordinance. <br />The proposed ordinance may <br />be inspected by the public <br />during regular business hours <br />(8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday <br />through Friday) at the Office <br />of the Clerk to the Board of <br />County Commissioners locat- <br />ed on the 2nd floor of Building <br />A of the County Administrative <br />Complex, 1801 27th Street, <br />Vero Beach, Florida. <br />Anyone who may wish to <br />appeal any decision which <br />may be made at this meeting <br />will need to ensure that a ver- <br />batim record of the proceed- <br />ings is made, which includes <br />testimony and evidence upon <br />which the appeal is based. <br />Anyone who needs a special <br />accommodation for this meet- <br />ing must contact the County's <br />Americans With Disabilities <br />Act (ADA) Coordinator at 772- <br />226-1223 at least 48 hours in <br />advance of the meeting. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD <br />OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />BOB SOLARI, CHAIRMAN <br />Pub Jan 4th 2019 <br />TCN 2190993 <br />i3-1(3 <br />
