The specific location of the access will consider <br />impacts to the environment and to the use of the park both during construction and <br />when the access is actively used for the intended planned purposes. This proposal is to <br />design and seek state and local permits for a south county beach access to meet the <br />health, safety, and security objectives as identified by the County. <br />As requested, attached is the Coastal Waterways proposed scope of services for <br />professional coastal engineering and environmental services to be provided by Coastal <br />Waterways Design & Engineering LLC (COASTAL WATERWAYS) for Indian River <br />County (COUNTY) for Construction Control Line (CCCL) Permitting, Design and <br />Construction Administration Services for Beach Access at Round Island Park to meet <br />Health, Safety, and Security Objectives: <br />Task la — FDEP CCCL Permit and Indian River County Pre -application <br />Conference and Conceptual Design: COASTAL WATERWAYS will conduct by <br />telephone a pre -application meeting with the Department of Environmental <br />Protection (DEP) staff and conduct a pre -application meeting with Indian River <br />County Community Development staff to discuss the conceptual plan for beach <br />access. COASTAL WATERWAYS will prepare conceptual design drawings to use <br />during the discussions of the project with FDEP and County staff.
