RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, There is now pendtng•oefore the Legislature <br />of the State of Florida legislation setting up a Fourth District Court of <br />Appeal to serve the following Counties: and. <br />St. Lucie, 'Martin, grevard, Browar4, Palm Beach, <br />Indian River, Orange and'Okeechobee <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County have been working with the Legislative Delegation of Indian <br />with regard to the proposed Court <br />River CcRinty/for several months; and, <br />WHEREAS, the County of Indian River and the City of Vero <br />Beach are presently being considered as one of the sites for, the permanent, <br />-location of said Fourth Mitrict Court of Appeal; and, <br />WHEREAS, temporary quarters for housing the proposed <br />Fourth District Court of Appeal will be needed until such time as a new <br />Court Building can be constructed to house the personnel of the Court; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach by. and through its City <br />Council has made an offer of space for temporary quarters for the said <br />Court, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County that th6 said County Commissioners <br />agree to cooperate with the City of Vero Beach should said proposed Fourth <br />District Court of Appeal be located In the City of Vero Beach and Indian River <br />County, and said cooperation shall Include, but not be limited to the making <br />'of funds available to make the temporary quarters offered by the city of <br />Vero Beach tenantable by said Fourth District Court of Appeal until such <br />time as the proposed Court Building shall be completed and the Court located <br />therein. <br />APR 211965' <br />
