A TRUE COPY CERTIFICATION ON LAST PAGE J.R. SMITH, CLERK RENEWAL OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING for Coordination of Supplemental Beach Nourishment and Related Coastal Activities THIS RENEWAL OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING for COORDINATION OF SUPPLEMENTAL DOWNDRIFT NOURISHMENT AND RELATED COASTAL ACTIVITIES ("Renewal") entered into effective this day of April 2019 ("Effective Date") by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida ("County"); and the Sebastian Inlet District ("District") an independent special taxing district established by a Special Act of the Florida Legislature, and agree as follows: WHEREAS, on April 2, 2013, the County and the District entered into a Memorandum of Understanding for Coordination of Supplemental Beach Nourishment and Related Coastal Activities (Agreement); and WHEREAS, the Agreement called for an initial term of five (5) years subject to renewal for an additional five (5) year term, for a total of ten (10) years; and WHEREAS, the Parties have mutually benefitted from participating in the Agreement and desire to renew the Agreement for an additional 5 -year term; NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: 1. The above recitals are true and correct and are adopted by reference herein. 2. The term of the Memorandum of Understanding for Coordination of Supplemental Beach Nourishment and Related Coastal Activities dated April 2, 2013 is hereby renewed and extended until April 1, 2023, nunc pro tunc. 3.
