<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94- �
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
<br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
<br />FLORIDA, DIRECTING COUNTY DEPOSITORIES
<br />TO HONOR CERTAIN AUTHORIZED SIGNATURES
<br />ON COUNTY WARRANTS AND OTHER ORDERS
<br />FOR PAYMENT.
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
<br />County on January 4, 1994, held an election for the offices of
<br />Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners;
<br />I and
<br />WHEREAS, the County Commission did nominate and select as
<br />Chairman John W. Tippin, and as Vice Chairman Kenneth R. Macht;
<br />i
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, Jeffrey K. Barton was elected Clerk of the Circuit
<br />Court of Indian River County effective December 31, 1988, also
<br />serves as a Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, pursuant to
<br />Section 125.167, Florida Statutes; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is now necessary to reinstruct the County's
<br />depositories as to the signatures necessary to honor County warrants,
<br />checks, or other orders for the payment of money drawn In the
<br />Commission's name,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
<br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA
<br />that:
<br />1. The County Commission has in the past designated certain
<br />Institutions as official depositories of County funds, and such
<br />designations are hereby ratified and affirmed.
<br />2. Each designated depository of the Commission is hereby
<br />requested, authorized, and directed to honor checks, warrants, or
<br />other orders for payment of money drawn in the Commission's name,
<br />including those payable to the individual orders of any person or
<br />persons whose name or names appear thereon, when bearing the
<br />facsimile signature of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, when said
<br />check, warrants, or other orders for the payment of money equals or
<br />does not exceed the sum of three thousand dollars ($3,000).
