APPENDIX A <br />PARAMETERS FOR ESTABLISHING SECTIONS OF PLANT <br />A unique section number will be assigned to the facilities that comprise the <br />NETWORK based on the following events: <br />• There is a change in the size of the fiber optic cable <br />• There is a change in the ownership split of the fiber optic cable <br />• There is a change in the performance parameters of the fiber optic cable <br />• There is a change in the structure carrying the cable (pole line, conduit, <br />buried) <br />• There is a change in the year of placement of the fiber optic cable <br />_ • There is a point of service provision <br />• There is a point of expected service provision <br />• A major geographic point of significance is crossed (railroad, intracoastal, <br />etc.) <br />e A major change in the capacity of the structure occurs <br />• Some significant transmission boundary or benchmark is encountered <br />The member organizations will develop and adopt a standard for numbering <br />sections within the first year that the CONSORTIUM is established. <br />Joint Fiber Optics Project - Interlocal Agreement <br />Appendix A - Page 1 <br />
