1/6/94.1(reso\dca.doe)Vk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94- 18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, CERTIFYING TO THE STATE OF <br />FLORIDA, DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, <br />UNDER THE COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION TAX <br />INCENTIVE PROGRAM, THAT THE HABITAT FOR <br />HUMANITY PROJECT IS CONSISTENT WITH LOCAL <br />PLANS AND REGULATIONS. <br />WHEREAS, the State of Florida, Department of Community Affairs, <br />under the authority of Sections 220.183 and 624.5105, Florida Statutes, <br />offers certain tax incentives under the Community Contribution Tax Incentive <br />Program; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the requirements to be a recipient of these tax <br />incentives is that the sponsor obtain a resolution from the local government <br />stating that the project is consistent with local plans and regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, Habitat for Humanity has applied to Indian River County for <br />such a resolution and has presented its plans to the County; and <br />WHEREAS, the County finds that the plans are in fact consistent with <br />local plans and regulations; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that a copy of this <br />resolution shall be presented to Habitat for Humanity for presentation to the <br />Florida Department of Community Affairs as certification that the Habitat for <br />Humanity's project, as attached to this resolution as Exhibit "A," is <br />consistent with local plans and regulations. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner MA c h t , <br />and the motion was seconded by Commissioner E 9 a e r t , and, upon being <br />put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman John W. Tippin Aye <br />Vice Chairman Kenneth R. Macht Aye <br />Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner Fran B.
