RESOLUTION NO. 95- 146 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE WABASSO CORRIDOR PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners established a <br />Wabasso Corridor Plan Task Force on May 2, 1995, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners authorized that <br />task force to develop a corridor plan for the Wabasso area, and <br />WHEREAS, after producing and distributing a Draft Plan, the <br />task force took public comment on that Draft Plan at a public <br />meeting on September 20, 1995, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the <br />Wabasso Corridor Plan at a public meeting on October 26, 1995, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5 to 0 to <br />recommend that the Board of County Commissioners adopt the Wabasso <br />Corridor Plan, with the added proviso that businesses that can <br />conform to the Wabasso Corridor Plan be alloyed to operate, <br />including, at least, boat display, sales, and rentals f and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County considered the Wabasso Corridor Plan at a public meeting on <br />November 21, 1995. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA THATs <br />1. The above recitals are ratified in their entirety. <br />2. The Wabasso Corridor Plan is approved and shall <br />guide development within the Corridor Plan <br />boundaries, pending the adoption of an ordinance <br />codifying the provisions of the Corridor Plan. <br />
