1/28/94(reso\interest)Vk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94- 3 3 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING THE INTEREST RATE <br />TO BE PAID ON CERTAIN DEPOSITS FROM <br />6% PER ANNUM TO 2.5% PER ANNUM. <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 91-31, the County adopted certain rates, <br />fees, and charges for the Department of Utility Services; and <br />WHEREAS, because of changing market conditions it is now necessary to <br />reduce the interest paid on deposits held by the Department; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the interest <br />rate to be paid on deposits held by the Department of Utility Services <br />adopted by Resolution No. 91-31 shall be changed from 6% per annum to 2.5% <br />per annum effective on adoption of this resolution or at such later time as is <br />convenient to the Department in its interest calculations. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Eggert , <br />and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Ma c h t , and, upon being <br />put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman John W. Tippin Aye <br />Vice Chairman Kenneth R. Macht Aye <br />Commissioner Richard N. Bird Absent <br />Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner Fran B.
