WISEMEN, P.E.R6'�4j <br />AND STAFFED ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: VERO SHORES LIFT STATION PROJECT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IIS -93 -31 -CS <br />FINAL PAYMENT REQUEST <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 24, 1994, the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners approved and awarded the above-mentioned project to <br />Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc., to construct the subject lift <br />station. On September 13, 1994, the Indian River County Board of <br />County Commissioners approved Change Order No. 1, which adjusted the <br />contract amount to $86,683.00 (copy attached). Construction has <br />been completed. The engineer has submitted a letter of <br />certification and completion to the Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection. The contractor has made application for <br />final payment (see attachments). <br />ANALYSIS <br />The adjusted contract amount for the project was $86,683.00. The <br />previous payment made to the contractor to date is in the amount of <br />$61,999.40, leaving a balance (including retainage) of $24,683.60. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends approval of the final <br />payment request of $24,683.60 to Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc., as <br />payment in full for services rendered. <br />26 <br />December 20, 1994 <br />
