ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Eggert being absent) set a hearing date <br />of February 7, 1995 to consider adopting ordinance <br />establishing new occupational license tax fees. <br />C. Proclamation -Radio Month <br />PROCLAMATION N <br />DESIGNATING MONTH OF JANUARY, 1995 <br />AS INDIAN RIVER COUNTY RADIO MONTH <br />` WHEREAS, radio broadcasting is an essential service in <br />creating public awareness to constantly changing situations in <br />Indian River County, the State of Florida, the United States and <br />the world; and <br />WHEREAS, radio advertising stimulates commerce which helps <br />maintain a stable economy in Indian River County; and <br />`•'� WHEREAS, local radio stations consistently offer facilities <br />for furthering civic projects that benefit all citizens of Indian <br />River County; and <br />WHEREAS, radio broadcasters stand in constant readiness to <br />give selfless aid in time of crisis; and <br />WHEREAS, the radio broadcasting industry has endeavored to <br />provide all listeners in Indian River County with programs <br />designed to inform, educate, and entertain: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />.COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Florida that the month of <br />January, 1995 be designated as <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY RADIO MONTH <br />and the Board further urges all citizens of Indian River County <br />to note the record of achievements of the radio broadcasting <br />industry,;its personnel and the theme RADIO - THE SOUND OF YOUR <br />Adopted this 20 day of December, 1994. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY- COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />i <br />X�_ l Can <br />K nneth R.
