Fiore exposed end. <br />Crocks between 1/25" and 12" shall <br />be "veed" out to a depth of at least <br />%" prior to drilling Voids greater <br />than %" wide by %" deep shall be <br />patched with epoxy repair poste. <br />STEP A <br />Clean out crock with hand tools, high <br />pressure air blast, or vacuum clean <br />sur face. <br />STEP B <br />Drill ho/es for ports to o width and depth <br />sufficient to assure o snug fit of the <br />port. Clean out debris with high pressure <br />air blasting. Insert ports and sealsurfoce <br />of crock with epoxy repair poste. <br />Sealshall extend 'above concrete surface <br />a minimum of %s" and extend o minimum <br />of 1" to either side of crock. Allow a <br />minimum of 6 hours curing before initiating <br />injection process. <br />STEP C <br />Inject epoxy po/ysu/fide grout <br />as detailed in the Specifications. <br />Allow minimum of 6 hours curing time. <br />Remove ports and grind surface smooth <br />to remove a minimum amount of epoxy <br />poste and sealer and to the satisfaction <br />of the engineer. <br />Space ports as detailed in the Specification. <br />Epoxy injection starts of lower end of <br />�verticalcrack and proceed upward to end <br />of crack, or until thickness of crack SIDEWALK UNDERMINING DETAIL <br />decreases to less than 1/25".
