Bid No. 2019031/IRC-1802 <br />AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT is by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a Political Subdivision of the State of Florida organized <br />and existing under the Laws of the State of Florida, (hereinafter called OWNER) and Vero Beach Roofing, Inc. <br />(hereinafter called CONTRACTOR). OWNER and CONTRACTOR, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter <br />set forth, agree as follows: <br />ARTICLE 1- WORK <br />CONTRACTOR shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work is generally <br />described as follows: <br />The Project involves removal and disposal of the existing roof system (approximately 19,963 square <br />feet) including flashings and sheet metal down to the existing roof deck and provides new PVC roof <br />system along with sheet metal flashing and accessories resulting in a complete, watertight, 20 -year <br />warrantable roof system. <br />ARTICLE 2 - THE PROJECT <br />The Project for which the Work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only a part is generally <br />described as follows: <br />Project Name: IRC NORTH COUNTY RO PLANT ROOF REPLACEMENT (IRC -1802) <br />Bid Number: 2019031 <br />Project Address: 7751 58TH AVE, VERO BEACH, FLORIDA32967 <br />ARTICLE 3 - CONTRACT TIMES <br />3.1 Time of the Essence <br />A. All time limits for Milestones, if any, Substantial Completion, and completion and readiness for final payment <br />as stated in the specifications are of the essence of theAgreement. <br />3.2 Days to Achieve Substantial Completion, Final Completion and Final Payment <br />A. The Work will be substantially completed on or before the 90th calendar day after the date when the Contract <br />Times commence to run as provided in the Notice to Proceed and completed and ready for final payment in <br />accordance with the Notice to Proceed on or before the 120th calendar day after the date when the <br />Contract Times commence to run. <br />1 <br />
