Brown, County Administrator <br />Kristin Daniels, Director, Office of Management and Budget <br />FROM: Jennifer Hyde, Purchasing Manager <br />SUBJECT: Modification to Ceres Agreement for Providing Disaster Debris Removal <br />and Disposal Services <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On April 5, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners approved an Agreement with Ceres <br />Environmental Services, Inc. for Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal Services. Ceres <br />performed services under the agreement in response to Hurricane Matthew in October 2016. <br />During review of our request for reimbursement, the State Department of Emergency <br />Management noted the Byrd Anti -Lobbying clause was not included in the original agreement, <br />and recommended it be retroactively added. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />The first modification to the agreement has been accepted by Ceres and is attached. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the First Modification to the <br />Ceres agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign it after the County Attorney has approved <br />it as to form and legal sufficiency. <br />Attachment: <br />First Amendment to Agreement for Providing Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal Services <br />50 <br />
