As Built (Final Reso.) <br />North Sebastian Septic to Sewer [S2S] Phase 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-037 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, CERTIFYING "AS -BUILT" <br />COSTS IN CONNECTION WITH A SEWER MAIN EXTENSION TO <br />SERVE CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED ALONG THE EAST SIDE <br />OF U.S. HIGHWAY 1 BETWEEN 13230 AND 14410 U.S. HIGHWAY 1, <br />AND INCLUDING 12920 AND 12950 U.S. HIGHWAY 1 WITHIN THE <br />UNINCORPORATED BOUNDARY OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY; AND <br />CERTAIN PROPERTIES ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF U.S. HIGHWAY <br />1 WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF <br />SEBASTIAN BETWEEN 13100 AND 1614 U.S. HIGHWAY 1, <br />INCLUDING CERTAIN PROPERTIES ALONG JACKSON STREET, <br />MADISON STREET, DAVIS STREET, N. CENTRAL AVENUE (SOUTH <br />OF JACKSON STREET) AND INCLUDING 1637 AND 1727 N. INDIAN <br />RIVER DRIVE (NORTH SEBASTIAN SEPTIC TO SEWER [S2S] <br />PHASE 1 PROJECT); PROVIDING FOR FORMAL COMPLETION <br />DATE, AND DATE FOR PAYMENT WITHOUT PENALTY AND <br />INTEREST. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County ("Board") <br />determined that a sewer main extension to serve certain properties located along the east side of <br />U.S. Highway 1 between 13230 and 14410 U.S. Highway 1, and including 12920 and 12950 U.S. <br />Highway 1 within the unincorporated boundary of Indian River County; and certain properties <br />along the east side of U.S. Highway 1 within the municipal boundary of the City of Sebastian <br />between 13100 and 1614 U.S. Highway 1, including certain properties along Jackson Street, <br />Madison Street, Davis Street, N. Central Avenue (South of Jackson Street) and including 1637 <br />and 1727 N. Indian River Drive (North Sebastian Septic to Sewer [S2S] Phase 1 Project) is <br />necessary to promote the public welfare of the county; and <br />WHEREAS, on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, the Board held a public hearing at which time <br />and place the owners of property to be assessed had the opportunity to appear before the Board <br />to be heard as to the propriety and advisability of making such improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, after such public hearing was held the Board adopted Resolution No. 2017- <br />073, which confirmed the special assessment cost of the project to the property specially <br />benefited by the project in the amounts listed in the attachment to that resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, now that the project has been completed, the Director of Utility Services has <br />certified the actual "as -built" cost to be less than the cost in confirming Resolution No. <br />2017-073, <br />1 <br />F:\Attomey\Nancy\DOCS\UTIL PROJECTS\No Co Septic to Sewer Phase I . resolution 4 assessment project.docx <br />
