Commissioner Adams remarked that the contract calls for <br />treatment for all persons, regardless of sex, and inquired whether <br />the treatment program is now available to women. <br />Nolle Robinson, Director of the Criminal Justice Programs for <br />New Horizons, advised the Board that all populations are now being <br />served. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Agreement with New Horizons of the Treasure <br />Coast, Inc., as recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />F. Proposed Constitutional Amendment <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of December 21, 1994: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: December 21, 1994 <br />RE: Proposed Constitutional Amendment <br />Seminole County has asked our County to support a resolution supporting <br />a constitutional amendment relating to correcting the ex parte problem <br />which has arisen as a result of the Dade County n. Jennings case which <br />restricts communication between County Commissioners and the electorate <br />concerning quasi judicial matters. <br />If the Board agrees with Seminole County, attached is a resolution of <br />support for a constitutional amendment to correct this problem. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Adopt attached resolution. <br />JANUARY 3, 1995 10 <br />BOOK 04 PAvt <br />
