WHEREAS, this matter has been brought to the attention of the <br />Department of Transportation officials in the past; and <br />WHEREAS, the situation has not been corrected, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />I. The Florida Department of Transportation is hereby requested <br />to take immediate action to bring the above-described area into conformity <br />with the surrounding areas. <br />2. The area should be maintained at all times in a neat and <br />orderly manner with proper buffering so that the area is aesthetically <br />pleasing as an- entrance to the City of Vero Beach. <br />3. The Clerk to the Board is directed to. mail a copy of this <br />Resolution to the following: <br />a. Secretary <br />Florida Department of Transportation <br />Tallahassee, FL <br />b. Jim Byron <br />Resident Construction Engineer <br />Florida Department of Transportation <br />3603 Oleander Avenue <br />Fort Pierce, FL 34982-6501 <br />This resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Eggert, <br />and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Tippin, and, upon being put <br />to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Kenneth R. Macht Aye <br />Vice Chairman Fran B. Adams Aye <br />Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Commissioner. Carolyn K. Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner John W.
