10/ 2b /94 (reso%animal . doo) VkNE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94- 139 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING ANIMAL CONTROL <br />OFFICER CARL WOLFE TO ISSUE CITATIONS. <br />WHEREAS, Section 828.27, Florida Statutes, allows County Animal <br />Control Officers under certain conditions to issue citations related to animal <br />control ordinances if the officer successfully completes a 40 -hour minimum <br />standards training course; and <br />WHEREAS, Animal Control Officer Carl Wolfe has completed such a <br />course at the St. Petersburg Junior College on October 21, 1994, and is <br />therefore qualified under Section 828.27, F.S.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Animal Control <br />Officer Carl Wolfe is hereby authorized to issue animal control citations, <br />pursuant to Section 828.27, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 302 of the Indian <br />River County Code. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Eggert , <br />and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Adams , and, upon <br />being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman John W. Tippin Aye <br />Vice Chairman Kenneth R. Macht Aye <br />Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner Fran B.
