WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Vero' Beach Comprehensive Plan on <br />April 4, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, the properties described herein meet the criteria for small scale <br />oompreh6xisive plan amendments, -pursuant to Section 163.3181(1) (c) of the Florida <br />-Statutes; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to 'Section 163.3174(4)(a) of the Florida Statutes, the <br />Planning and Zoning Board, acting as -the Local Planning Agency, held an advertised Local <br />Planning Agency Public Hearimg on the small ;scfde corriptolionsive plan amendment on <br />December 20, 2018, and made recommendation regarding the amendment to the Vero <br />Beach City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Vero Beach City Council finds the proposed amendment to the <br />Future Land Use Mapto be consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the <br />Comprehensive Plan and other standards and criteria for review and approval of <br />amendments to the Future Land Use Map pursuant to Section 65.22(i)(l) and (4) of the <br />Vero Beach Code of Ordinances, <br />.NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />'THE CITY OF VERO REACH FLORIDA, THAT: <br />Section L.Adootion of "WHEREAS" Clauses. <br />The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby adopted and incorporated herein. <br />Section 2. Adoption of Small Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment; <br />The small scale amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the Vero Beach <br />Comprehensive Plan 'is hereby adopted for the property located at 3780 Indian River <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />Plus, Exhibit(g) . incorpQrated by,reference <br />
