Tuesday, January 10, 1995 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, January 10, <br />1995, at 9:00 a.m. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran <br />B. Adams, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />John W. Tippin. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Tippin led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Macht requested the addition of Item 7.D. to the <br />Consent Agenda: support of grant application for restoration of the <br />Macedonia Black Church. <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of Item 7.E. to the <br />Consent Agenda: scheduling a public hearing on January 24, 1995, <br />for revisions to Chapter 304, Life Support Services as recommended <br />by Emergency Services District Advisory Committee. <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition of Item 13.C., <br />discussion of John Dean's Merrill Barber Bridge Life After Death <br />Concept. <br />Commissioner Adams requested the addition of Item 13.B., <br />discussion of Fellsmere trash transfer station beautification and <br />consideration of restoring additional days of service. <br />Chairman Macht requested the addition of Item 13.A.2, <br />concerning a letter received from Vero Beach Mayor Caroline Ginn <br />regarding special parking places for the judicial assistants at the <br />new courthouse. <br />Administrator Chandler advised that Mr. Frank Zorc had asked <br />that Item 9.B. be deferred again; and advised that there would be <br />a caucus following the meeting concerning employee bargaining. <br />04 <br />January 10, 1995 <br />an®g 94 46, <br />
