purchase. from Central Groves Corp. for <br />66th Avenue widening project <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-048 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-018 (TO CORRECT <br />THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION) WITH REGARD <br />TO CANCELLING CERTAIN TAXES UPON <br />PUBLICLY OWNED LANDS, PURSUANT TO <br />SECTION 196.28, FLORIDA STATUTES. <br />WHEREAS, on February 19, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners <br />adopted Resolution No. 2019-018, for cancelling certain taxes upon publicly <br />owned lands, pursuant to section 196.28, Florida Statutes; said lands were <br />purchased from Central Groves Corp. for right-of-way and a stormwater retention <br />pond in connection with the 66th Avenue road widening project; and <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2019-018 attached a copy of the recorded <br />Warranty Deed recorded in O.R. Book 3181 at Page 1896 which had been re- <br />recorded in O.R. Book 3182, Page 2054 of the Public Records of Indian River <br />County, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, after the adoption of Resolution No. 2019-018, it was <br />discovered that the Warranty Deed as recorded and re-recorded, erroneously <br />conveyed more property than what the Grantor (Central Groves Corp.) owned, <br />necessitating the need for a further Corrective Warranty Deed to correct the legal <br />description of the property that was purchased; and <br />1 <br />
