ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously awarded Bid <br />#5038 to Southeastern Emergency Equipment in the <br />amount of $9,437.40, as recommended by staff. <br />I. IRC Bid #5036/Surplus Sale <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 12/30/94: <br />DATE: December 30, 1994 <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU:- James E. Chandler, County Administrator <br />H.T. "Sonny" Dean, Director <br />General Services <br />FROM: Fran Boynton Powell, Purchasing Manager <br />SUBJ: IRC Bid #5036/Surplus Sale <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION: <br />The following equipment (attached list) has been declared <br />surplus to the needs of Indian River County. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff recommends that authority be granted by the Board of <br />County Commissioners to declare these items surplus and <br />authorize its sale. <br />FUNDING: <br />The monies received from this sale will be returned to the <br />appropriate accounts. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />This will be placed on the Surplus Property Sale open to <br />the public as per State Statutes. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously declared <br />surplus the items specified by staff. <br />13 <br />January 17, 1995 <br />book wc' 103 <br />
